Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw announced that a 33-year-old Mount Holly resident who was convicted of fatally stabbing a man behind a Mount Holly convenience store in September 2021 has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Jimir Wynn must serve 85 percent of the sentence before becoming eligible for parole under the sentence handed down Friday in Mount Holly by the Hon. Aimee Belgard, P.J.Cr.
“We are grateful to the court for imposing this sentence,” Prosecutor Bradshaw said. “This was an extremely violent attack. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family and hope this result will bring them some degree of comfort.”
A Superior Court jury deliberated for approximately two hours in June 2025 before delivering guilty verdicts on charges of Aggravated Manslaughter (First Degree), Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (Third Degree) and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (Fourth Degree).
The investigation began the afternoon of September 7, 2021, when officers from the Mount Holly Township Police Department were dispatched to Millerie’s Market & Deli at the corner of Rancocas Road and King Street after a caller said an adult male’s body had been found behind the store.
The death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood determined the victim, Sean Reynolds, 30, of Brick Township, had been stabbed multiple times.
Wynn was prosecuted by Assistant Prosecutor Rachel M. Conte. The case was investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office and the Mount Holly Township Police Department, with assistance from the Westampton Police Department, Pemberton Township Police Department, and Burlington County Sheriff’s Office.
The lead investigators were BCPO Lieutenant Brian Cunningham, BCPO Detective Sergeant Melyssa Alonso and MHTPD Detective Sergeant Nicholas Dell-Priscoli.
