Burlington County Expungement Clinic & Resource Fair

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Due to flooding at the JFK Center, all expungement clinic operations will now be held on 10/24 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington City…

For those who do go to the JFK Center and were unaware of the change, signage will be posted and the BurLink shuttle will be providing FREE transportation to the expungement clinic site at the Tabernacle Church in Burlington City.  Sorry for the inconvenience. This was unforeseen. Please do not let this prevent you from coming out and clearing your record. Hope to see you on Thursday in Burlington City! FREE services, and FREE lunch! Come out and let us help you!

10/24/24, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Burlington City:

Tabernacle Baptist Church
150 East 2nd Street
Burlington City, NJ

Have a non-violent offense in your past that is holding you back from gaining employment or housing? Under certain circumstances this can be removed from your record. Come out and see us on October 24th at our fourth annual Expungement Clinic & Resource Fair. It is completely free, no appointment is needed, and lunch will be available.

Those who are planning to attend and speak with an attorney about a possible expungement should bring any information they have about the case they are hoping to address. However, if that information is not in your possession, it can be retrieved electronically at the clinic. Those seeking to have a conviction expunged do not have to live in Burlington County. The incident did not have to occur in Burlington County, but must have taken place in New Jersey.

For more information on who is qualified and to be better prepared for your visit to the clinic, please read the below flyer prepared by the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, who is our partner in this venture along with the Burlington County Bar Association. We are greatly appreciative to Tabernacle Baptist Church for hosting the clinic again this year.

(Scroll below the flyer for a list of additional services and job preparation assistance that will be available at the clinic).
