Woman Found Fatally Shot Inside Vehicle in Willingboro


WILLINGBORO – Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Willingboro Township Public Safety Director Kinamo Lomon announced today that a 26-year-old Willingboro woman was fatally shot while sitting inside a parked car on Baldwin Lane in the Buckingham Park section of the township.

The investigation began after police were called to the first block of the street today at approximately 10:30 a.m. Officers discovered the body of Deasia Ayres inside the vehicle.

No arrests have been made. An autopsy will be performed today by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood.

The investigation is being conducted by detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office and the Willingboro Township Police Department. The lead investigators are BCPO Detective Tony Luyber and WTPD Detective Jason Galiazzi.
