Police Seek Public’s Help with Mount Laurel Fatal Shooting



Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Mount Laurel Township Police Department Chief Timothy Hudnall announced that a man was shot multiple times early this morning in Mount Laurel and died a short time later while being treated at a Camden hospital.

The investigation began after the victim was discovered bleeding in the 1000 block of Atrium Way in Mount Laurel at approximately 2:30 a.m. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 4:15 a.m.

The preliminary investigation determined that the victim, whose name is being withheld at this time, is believed to have had been shot moments earlier while driving northbound on Route 73 in his 2014 Silver Mercedes-Benz E350 sedan.

No arrests have been made, and the weapon has not been recovered. An autopsy will be performed by the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police are seeking details from the public to assist with the investigation, which is being conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office and the Mount Laurel Police Department.
