Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw announced that a 33-year-old Massachusetts man was found guilty of sending nude photos of himself to an underage Burlington County teenager.
After deliberating for just an hour, a Superior Court jury on February 26 found Andrew J. Hall, of Warren, guilty of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Third Degree), Providing Obscene Material to a Minor (Third Degree) and two counts of Criminal Sexual Contact (Fourth Degree).
The investigation began in September 2022 after the victim and her parents reported the interaction to a Burlington County municipal police department. The investigation determined that Hall contacted the victim on an instant messaging social media platform. The conversation eventually became sexual in nature, with Hall and the victim exchanging nude photos and videos.
The investigation further revealed that Hall was aware the victim was underage and expressed a desire to meet her in person once she turned 16 years old. Additional details about the case are being withheld in an attempt to protect the victim.
Hall, who was indicted in March 2024, is being prosecuted by BCPO Assistant Prosecutor Katharine Dolin. The Hon. Aimee Belgard, P.J.Cr., scheduled sentencing for June 6.
