Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw announced that a 37-year-old man has been charged with killing his cellmate inside the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly.
Rondale Holloman, of Burlington Township, was charged with Murder (First Degree) in connection with the death of Kenneth Bulle, 74, of Mount Holly. The case will now be prepared for presentation to a grand jury for possible indictment.
The investigation began in the early morning hours of November 14 after corrections officers became aware that Holloman had attacked Bulle, who was pronounced dead inside the facility.
An autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood determined that Bulle died from manual strangulation.
The investigation was conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office. The lead investigators are Major Crimes Unit Detective Nicholas Schieber and Crime Scene Unit Detective Steven Trunfio.
Holloman will be prosecuted by Assistant Prosecutor Robert S. Van Gilst, supervisor of the BCPO Major Crimes Unit.
All persons are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
