Deadly Shooting in Burlington City’s Historic Yorkshire Section


BURLINGTON CITY – Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and City of Burlington Police Chief John Fine announced that a 20-year-old city man was fatally shot this morning outside of a house in the 300 block of York Street.

Kion Edwards was pronounced dead at Virtua Willingboro Hospital following the 10:45 a.m. shooting in the city’s Historic Yorkshire neighborhood.

No arrests have been made.

The case is being investigated by detectives from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the City of Burlington Police Department.
