Have a non-violent offense in your past that is holding you back from gaining employment or housing? Under certain circumstances this can be removed from your record. Come out and see us at our annual Expungement Clinic & Resource Fair. It is completely free, no appointment is needed, and lunch will be available.
Those who are planning to attend and speak with an attorney about a possible expungement should bring any information they have about the case they are hoping to address. However, if that information is not in your possession, it can be retrieved electronically at the clinic. Those seeking to have a conviction expunged do not have to live in Burlington County. The incident did not have to occur in Burlington County, but must have taken place in New Jersey.
For more information on who is qualified and to be better prepared for your visit to the clinic, please read the below flyer prepared by the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, who is our partner in this venture along with the Burlington County Bar Association.
(Scroll below the flyer for a list of additional services and job preparation assistance that will be available at the clinic).
